EWANGELIA - Mt 11, 25-30 (Tajemnice królestwa objawione prostaczkom)

W owym czasie Jezus przemówił tymi słowami: «Wysławiam Cię, Ojcze, Panie nieba i ziemi, że zakryłeś te rzeczy przed mądrymi i roztropnymi, a objawiłeś je prostaczkom. Tak, Ojcze, gdyż takie było Twoje upodobanie.
Wszystko przekazał Mi Ojciec mój. Nikt też nie zna Syna, tylko Ojciec, ani Ojca nikt nie zna, tylko Syn, i ten, komu Syn zechce objawić.
Przyjdźcie do Mnie wszyscy, którzy utrudzeni i obciążeni jesteście, a Ja was pokrzepię.
Weźcie moje jarzmo na siebie i uczcie się ode Mnie, bo jestem cichy i pokorny sercem, a znajdziecie ukojenie dla dusz waszych. Albowiem jarzmo moje jest słodkie, a moje brzemię lekkie».

MEDYTACJA

Jezus wychwala Boga. Swoją mowę zaczyna od dziękczynienia i podkreślenia, że wszystko, co mamy, pochodzi od Boga. Jego serce jest przepełnione wdzięcznością...

Po oddaniu chwały Bogu, Jezus zaprasza do wspólnego przebywania z Nim ze wszystkim, co w sobie nosimy. Jakby chciał nam przypomnieć, że przed Bogiem możemy być prawdziwi...

Jezus chce iść razem z nami przez nasze życie. Mówi, że jest łagodny i pokorny, czyli ma w sobie pewną zgodę na rzeczywistość. Jarzmo, które przyjął, jest dane w miłości od Ojca...

Po twardych słowach nagany wobec miast, gdzie dokonało się wiele znaków-cudów, a one zadufane w swojej 'mądrości' nie uwierzyły...

Jezus wypowiada pochwałę 'prostaczków', utrudzonych i obciążonych, którzy potrzebują pokrzepienia. Celem działania Syna jest ujawnienie skarbu
i podzielenie się nim z braćmi i siostrami. Zdolni do przyjęcia go są ludzie prości, którzy mają dziecięcą wiarę i ufność. Nie chodzi o dokonania, bohaterskie czyny, ale o dyspozycję serca...

"Przyjdźcie do Mnie wszyscy". Jest to zaproszenie do naśladowania Jezusa, do towarzyszenia Mu w Jego misji. 'Wszyscy' to także ci, którzy Go odrzucili, sprzeniewierzyli się w jakikolwiek sposób, wobec których Jezus wypowiedział 'biada'. Oni także mogą znaleźć wytchnienie przy Nim...

Jezus podpowiada, że warto mieć umysł młody, świeży, elastyczny, prosty, bez kombinacji, kreatywny i otwarty na Niego. Kiedy się to stanie, to zrozumiemy, że to nie od nas wszystko zależy w życiu, że nie jesteśmy ważniejsi od Boga. Zrozumiemy, że w Nim jest nasz pokój i ukojenie, spełnienie, nasycenie i szczęście,
a spotykające nas krzyże, przeżywane z Nim, są łatwiejsze do akceptacji i zmagania się...

Bóg jest światłością i nie ma w Nim żadnej ciemności. To znaczy, że Bóg jest doskonałym źródłem czystości, sprawiedliwości i prawdy. Dlatego, gdy trwamy
w relacji z Nim, a jednocześnie tkwimy w grzechu, to nie kierujemy się prawdą. Uznając jednak swoją grzeszność i zauważając ten brak konsekwencji w życiu wiary, Bóg przebaczy nam i oczyści nas z wszelkiej nieprawości...

Bojąc się osądu lub potępienia, unikamy konfrontacji z naszymi słabościami, a prawdziwa wolność i uzdrowienie przychodzą poprzez uczciwe uznanie grzechów i oddanie ich Jezusowi, który jest sprawiedliwym i miłującym Pośrednikiem...

Jezus oddał swoje życie, abyśmy mogli pojednać się z Ojcem i otrzymać życie wieczne. Dlatego też, jako ludzie wierzący, nie możemy trwać w grzechu, ale powinniśmy dążyć do świętości, żyjąc zgodnie z nauką Jezusa. Nasze nawrócenie i oddanie grzechów Bogu powinno prowadzić do zmiany naszego sposobu życia i dążenia do coraz większej miłości...

Dzisiejsza Ewangelia jest wielką szkołą pokory i prostoty. Tylko ludzie pokorni sercem mogą bowiem zrozumieć to, co Jezus nam objawia. Tylko ludzie pokorni sercem znajdują pokój, ale także potrafią stanąć w prawdzie o własnym życiu...

Często odczuwamy trudy naszego życia, czujemy zmęczenie, a nawet bezradność. Właśnie w takich trudnych sytuacjach potrzebujemy Jezusa, który jest łagodny i pokorny sercem. On nas nie zostawia...

„Bóg osłania pokornego i obdarza wolnością, miłuje pokornego i pociesza, pochyla się nad pokornym, zsyła pokornemu swoją łaskę, a potem przemienia jego poniżenie w chwałę. Pokornemu odsłania swoje tajemnice, łagodnie przyciąga go do siebie i zaprasza. Pokorny nie traci spokoju, gdy dotknie go zniewaga, bo ma oparcie w Bogu, a nie w świecie" ( T. a Kempis)...

Pokora daje pokój w sercu człowieka. To wielka prawda na całe nasze życie. Szukając pokoju w sercu, najpierw szukajmy pokory i łagodności. Ważniejsza jest ewangeliczna mądrość niż uczona wiedza. Ewangeliczną mądrość zdobywa się w szkole Serca Jezusowego...

Jezus uczy nas modlitwy. Nie tylko słów 'Ojcze nasz', ale i odnajdowania w każdej życiowej sytuacji obecności Boga i dziękowania za wszystko. To trudna modlitwa. Łatwiej przed Bogiem otworzyć serce, wyżalić się i zrzucić na Niego wszystkie swoje troski i problemy...

Jezus uczy nas czegoś więcej. Sztuki uważności, zauważania, jak Bóg nam towarzyszy i działa. Zwracania uwagi na małe przebłyski dobra, z których zbudowane są dni i lata naszego życia. Dla Jezusa tych kilku, którzy otworzyli serca na Jego naukę, było okazją do powiedzenia Ojcu: 'Dziękuję'...

...Jezu, proszę o łaskę prostoty i dziecięce przylgnięcie do Twojego serca... Proszę o łaskę poznania Twojej miłości... Dziękuję za Twoją cierpliwość
i wielkoduszność...

GOSPEL - Mt 11, 25-30 (The secrets of the kingdom revealed to the little ones)

At that time Jesus spoke, saying, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was Your good pleasure.
My Father has given everything to me. And no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son chooses to reveal it.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

MEDITATION

Jesus praises God. He begins his speech with thanksgiving and emphasizing that everything we have comes from God. His heart is full of gratitude...

After giving glory to God, Jesus invites us to spend time with Him with everything we carry within us. As if to remind us that we can be real before God...

Jesus wants to walk with us through our lives. He says that he is gentle and humble, which means he has a certain acceptance of reality. The yoke he accepted was given in love by the Father...

After harsh words of reprimand against the cities where many signs and wonders were performed, and they, confident in their 'wisdom', did not believe...

Jesus praises the 'simple', the weary and burdened, who need refreshment. The purpose of the Son's action is to reveal the treasure and sharing it with brothers and sisters. Simple people who have childlike faith and trust are capable of accepting it. It's not about achievements or heroic deeds, but about the disposition of the heart...

"Come to Me, all of you." It is an invitation to follow Jesus, to accompany Him in His mission. 'All' also includes those who rejected Him, who betrayed Him in any way, to whom Jesus uttered 'woe'. They too can find rest in Him...

Jesus suggests that it is worth having a mind that is young, fresh, flexible, simple, without any combinations, creative and open to Him. When this happens, we will understand that everything in life does not depend on us, that we are not more important than God. We will understand that in Him there is our peace and solace, fulfillment, saturation and happiness, and the crosses we encounter, experienced with Him, are easier to accept and struggle with...

God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. This means that God is the perfect source of purity, justice and truth. Therefore, while we persist
in a relationship with Him, and at the same time we are stuck in sin, we are not guided by the truth. However, recognizing our sinfulness and noticing this lack of consistency in the life of faith, God will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness...

Fearing judgment or condemnation, we avoid confronting our weaknesses, and true freedom and healing come through honest acknowledgment of sins and surrendering them to Jesus, who is the just and loving Mediator...

Jesus gave his life so that we could be reconciled with the Father and receive eternal life. Therefore, as believers, we cannot continue in sin, but should strive for holiness by living according to the teachings of Jesus. Our conversion and surrender of sins to God should lead to a change in our way of life and striving for ever greater love...

Today's Gospel is a great school of humility and simplicity. Only people who are humble in heart can understand what Jesus reveals to us. Only people who are humble at heart find peace, but are also able to stand in the truth about their own lives...

We often feel the difficulties of our lives, we feel tired and even helpless. It is in such difficult situations that we need Jesus, who is gentle and humble in heart. He doesn't leave us...

“God protects the humble and gives freedom, loves and comforts the humble, bends over the humble, sends His grace to the humble, and then transforms his humiliation into glory. He reveals his secrets to the humble, gently draws him to himself and invites him. The humble person does not lose his peace when he is insulted, because he has his support in God, not in the world" (T. a Kempis)...

Humility brings peace to the human heart. This is a great truth for our entire lives. When looking for peace in our hearts, let us first look for humility and gentleness. Evangelical wisdom is more important than learned knowledge. Gospel wisdom is gained in the school of the Sacred Heart of Jesus...

Jesus teaches us to pray. Not only the words 'Our Father', but also finding God's presence in every life situation and giving thanks for everything. This
is a difficult prayer. It's easier to open your heart to God, complain and throw all your worries and problems on Him...

Jesus teaches us something more. The art of mindfulness, noticing how God accompanies us and works. Paying attention to the little glimpses of goodness that make up the days and years of our lives. For Jesus, those few who opened their hearts to His teaching were an opportunity to say to the Father: 'Thank you'...

...Jesus, I am asking for the grace of simplicity and childlike clinging to Your heart... I am asking for the grace to know Your love... Thank you for Your patience and generosity...
