ŚRODA, Dzień powszedni EWANGELIA - J 12, 44-50 (Przyszedłem, aby świat zbawić) Jezus tak wołał: «Ten, kto we Mnie wierzy, wierzy nie we Mnie, lecz w Tego, który Mnie posłał. A kto Mnie widzi, widzi Tego, który Mnie posłał. MEDYTACJA Jezus przyciągał tłumy. Musiało być coś fascynującego w tym wędrownym Nauczycielu, że ludzie porzucali swoje zajęcia i szli za Nim nawet przez wiele miesięcy. W Jezusie zachwycające jest to, że unika On koncentracji na sobie, a kieruje uwagę słuchających w stronę Boga Ojca. Patrząc na Jezusa mamy lepiej dostrzegać to, jaki jest Jego Ojciec... Jezus nazywa siebie światłością pozwalającą tym, którzy uwierzą, wyjść z ciemności. Aby bezpiecznie dojść do celu, nie należy patrzeć wprost w światło, ale oświecać drogę. Jezus chce być dla nas właśnie takim światłem, które oświetla nam drogę naszego życia prowadzącą do Jego Ojca... Ludzie, choć widzieli znaki, nie uwierzyli w Jezusa. Nie przyjęli światła, wzgardzili słowem życia. Nie odrzucili tylko Syna, ale przede wszystkim ‘Tego, który Go posłał’, Ojca... 'U początku wszystkiego jest wiara w Jezusa'. Przez Niego poznajemy Ojca, słyszymy Jego słowa, które wybawiają od śmierci i dają życie. Wiara pomaga nam poznać rzeczywistość. Ona otwiera nasze oczy na prawdę... U Ewangelisty Jana kończy się księga ‘znaków’, dokonywanych przez Jezusa, otwierając nas na ten najważniejszy znak: ‘Jego godzinę’ - krzyż i pusty grób... Nie przyszedłem sądzić, lecz zbawić. Obraz Boga ‘sprawiedliwego sędziego’ głęboko wyrył się w naszych wyobrażeniach. Do tego stopnia, że łatwo pomijamy to, co Jezus powiedział i uczynił. Ostatecznym znakiem sądu Boga bowiem jest ‘zbawienie’ – krzyż i zmartwychwstanie... Jezus jest światłem, które rozjaśnia nasze ciemności. Prowadzi do życia spełnionego, szczęśliwego. Nie chodzi tu tylko o deklaracje, o puste słowa, ale Kiedy nie wiemy jak żyć, jak wybrać, zapytajmy Jezusa lub zastanówmy się, co On zrobiłby na naszym miejscu. Wówczas pojawia się pewność, że ten wybór będzie dobry i będzie podobał się Bogu... Nie potrafimy żyć dobrze bez Jezusa, nie potrafimy miłować, przebaczać, wprowadzać jedność, pomagać, służyć, żyć w świetle. Im szybciej to zrozumiemy, tym lepiej dla nas... Kto zobaczył Jezusa, zobaczył też Boga, a więc, że taki jest Bóg, jaki był, żyjąc na ziemi, Jezus. Nie wielki, wyniosły i niedostępny, ale bliski, pokorny, trochę jak człowiek zwyczajny... Potępi się nie tyle człowiek, który nie wierzy w Jezusa, ale ten, kto Go usłyszał, ale nie usłuchał. Potępi takiego człowieka nie Jezus, ale słowo, które odrzucił. Bo słowo jest życiem wiecznym. Odrzucając słowo odrzucamy życie wieczne... Ten, kto chodzi w ciemności, choćby nie wiadomo jak się puszył, jest zagubiony. Wcześniej czy później potknie się i upadnie. A ci, którzy ufają Chrystusowi mają światło, żyją w świetle, wiedzą skąd przychodzą i dokąd idą. I nawet jeśli się potkną – wstaną i pójdą dalej... Jezus jest naszym Światłem. Człowiek w ciemności gubi się, szuka po omacku i potrzebuje światła, aby odnaleźć drogę. Słowo będzie naszym sędzią, będzie sędzią naszego sumienia. Czytając Ewangelię, Pismo Święte, odczytujemy słowa, które będą nas sądzić w dniu ostatecznym... Światło w naszej wierze ma istotne znaczenie. To znaczenie jest podstawą wiary, jej fundamentem, bo źródłem światła jest Bóg. Jeżeli naprawdę wierzymy, to powinniśmy ładować się światłem Chrystusa... Jezus wszedł w naszą historię nie po to, aby potępić świat, ale by nas zbawić, by wyciągnąć nas z mroków negatywnego myślenia. Warto więc iść za słowem Ewangelii i wpatrując się w ikonę zmartwychwstałego Chrystusa, przemieniać światłem, które płynie z Jego oblicza, wszystko, co jeszcze jest okryte ciemnością ludzkiego myślenia... ...Jezu, proszę o głębokie przejęcie się Twoimi słowami i otwarcie na miłość Ojca... Proszę o łaskę otwarcia serca na chwałę Syna Człowieczego... Jesus calls himself the light that allows those who believe to come out of darkness. To reach your destination safely, you should not look directly into the light, but illuminate the path. Jesus wants to be a light for us that illuminates the path of our lives leading to His Father... Even though the people saw the signs, they did not believe in Jesus. They did not receive the light, they rejected the word of life. They did not reject only the Son, but above all 'He who sent Him', the Father... 'At the beginning of everything is faith in Jesus.' Through Him we know the Father, we hear His words that save from death and give life. Faith helps us know reality. She opens our eyes to the truth... In the Evangelist John, the book of 'signs' performed by Jesus ends, opening us to this most important sign: 'His hour' - the cross and the empty tomb... I have not come to judge, but to save. The image of God as a “just judge” is deeply engraved in our imaginations. So much so that we easily overlook what Jesus said and did. The final sign of God's judgment is 'salvation' - the cross and resurrection... Jesus is the light that illuminates our darkness. It leads to a fulfilled and happy life. It's not just about declarations, but empty words When we don't know how to live, how to choose, let's ask Jesus or think about what He would do in our place. Then there is certainty that this choice will be good and will please God... We cannot live well without Jesus, we cannot love, forgive, bring unity, help, serve, live in the light. The sooner we understand this, the better for us... Whoever saw Jesus also saw God, so that God is as Jesus was when he lived on earth. Not great, haughty and inaccessible, but close, humble, a bit like an ordinary person... It is not the person who does not believe in Jesus who will be condemned, but the one who heard Him but did not listen. What will condemn such a man is not Jesus, but the word he rejected. Because the word is eternal life. By rejecting the word, we reject eternal life... He who walks in darkness, no matter how proud he may be, is lost. Sooner or later he will trip and fall. And those who trust in Christ have light, live in light, know where they come from and where they are going. And even if they stumble, they will get up and move on... Jesus is our Light. A person gets lost in the dark, gropes in the dark and needs light to find his way. The Word will be our judge, it will be the judge of our conscience. By reading the Gospel, the Holy Scripture, we read the words that will judge us on the last day... Light is important in our faith. This meaning is the basis of faith, its foundation, because the source of light is God. If we really believe, we should be charged with the light of Christ... Jesus entered our history not to condemn the world, but to save us, to pull us out of the darkness of negative thinking. Therefore, it is worth following the word of the Gospel and, looking at the icon of the resurrected Christ, transforming with the light that flows from His face everything that is still covered with the darkness of human thinking... ...Jesus, I am asking you to be deeply moved by Your words and open to the Father's love... I am asking for the grace to open your heart to the glory of the Son of Man... Thank you for the gift of faith...
