EWANGELIA - 10, 1-10 (Jezus jest bramą owiec)

Jezus powiedział:
«Zaprawdę, zaprawdę, powiadam wam: Kto nie wchodzi do owczarni przez bramę, ale wdziera się inną drogą, ten jest złodziejem i rozbójnikiem. Kto jednak wchodzi przez bramę, jest pasterzem owiec. Temu otwiera odźwierny, a owce słuchają jego głosu; woła on swoje owce po imieniu i wyprowadza je.
A kiedy wszystkie wyprowadzi, staje na ich czele, owce zaś postępują za nim, ponieważ głos jego znają. Natomiast za obcym nie pójdą, lecz będą uciekać od niego, bo nie znają głosu obcych».
Tę przypowieść opowiedział im Jezus, lecz oni nie pojęli znaczenia tego, co im mówił.
Powtórnie więc powiedział do nich Jezus: «Zaprawdę, zaprawdę, powiadam wam: Ja jestem bramą owiec. Wszyscy, którzy przyszli przede Mną, są złodziejami i rozbójnikami, a nie posłuchały ich owce. Ja jestem bramą. Jeżeli ktoś wejdzie przeze Mnie, będzie zbawiony – wejdzie i wyjdzie, i znajdzie pastwisko. Złodziej przychodzi tylko po to, aby kraść, zabijać i niszczyć. Ja przyszedłem po to, aby owce miały życie, i miały je w obfitości».

MEDYTACJA

Jezus mówi o tym, jak odróżnić dobrych pasterzy od złodziei. Rozbójnicy przychodzą by kraść, natomiast dobrzy pasterze nie dążą do wzbogacenia się, ale dbają o dobro owiec...

Cechą złodzieja jest zabijanie. Tacy intruzi będą sączyć w stado zabójczy jad strachu, niechęci i nienawiści. Przeciwnie robią ci, którzy przeszli przez owczarnię Jezusa: będą ożywiać słowem i dobrym przykładem...

Ktoś, kto tak jak Jezus dba o stado, będzie budować, a nie niszczyć. Jeżeli znajdzie coś, co jest wzniesione na złym fundamencie, to zaproponuje przebudowę,
a nie demolkę...

"A więc i poganom udzielił Bóg łaski nawrócenia, aby żyli" (Dz 11, 18). Początek Kościoła i pytania, na które odpowiada Duch Święty. Poganie wezwani do drogi za Jezusem. Musimy sobie uświadomić, że i my, stajemy gdzieś w rzędzie tych wezwanych, a Duch Święty pochyla się także nad nami...

Jezus przed swoją śmiercią troszczy się o swoją samotną matkę, która traci jedynego syna. Zadaniem ucznia jest wziąć, przyjąć, powierzoną sobie Matkę Jezusa. Zadaniem ucznia jest przyjęcie Maryi za swoją matkę, najwyższe dobro, które jest źródłem jego egzystencji...

Jezus jest bramą owiec. To nie brama zdobywana za wszelką cenę. Samo bycie dobrym też nie wystarczy. Potrzebna jest dojrzała relacja z Chrystusem
i wypływające stąd dobro. Żyjmy na poważnie Nim, Jego nauczaniem. On jest bramą. Nie my i nasze oczekiwania...

Jezus przedstawia siebie jako bramę do owczarni. Złodziej przychodzi tylko po to, aby kraść, zabijać i niszczyć. Jezus przyszedł po to, aby owce miały życie
i miały je w obfitości...

Złodziej, czyli ten, który nie wchodzi do owczarni przez bramę, ale inaczej. Tak, złodziejem jest ten, który próbuje udawać pasterza, a nie wchodzi 'przez Jezusa'; lekceważy Go, poprawia, próbuje głosić swoje własne, a nie Jezusowe nauki…

Zawsze znajdą się tacy, którzy dadzą się zwieść, mają zły słuch i nie rozpoznają głosu pasterza. Większość jednak nie da się nabrać. Oby tak było...

Znać kogoś z imienia to znać jego życie. Niekoniecznie w całości, ale na tyle, by poznać jego radości i smutki, lęki i nadzieje, mocne i słabe strony. To skraca odległość. Umożliwia poprowadzenie lub przeprowadzenie przez dzień lub noc życia. Jezus zna nasze imię. Zna nasze życie. Zna każdego z nas. Nie lękajmy się tego, ale podążajmy za Jego wołaniem...

...Jezu, proszę o dogłębne przeżycie radości w Duchu, że Ty i Ojciec opiekujecie się mną... Proszę o łaskę wypełnienia zadania ucznia, czyli być obok Twojego krzyża... Dziękuję za ofiarowanie się za mnie...

GOSPEL - 10, 1-10 (Jesus is the gate of the sheep)

Jesus said:
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the gate, but climbs in by another way, is a thief and a robber. But whoever enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter opens, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls his sheep by name and leads them out.
And when he has brought them all out, he stands at their head, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. But they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."
Jesus told them this parable, but they did not understand the meaning of what he was telling them.
So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the gate of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, and the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved; he will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I came that the sheep might have life, and have it abundantly."

MEDITATION

Jesus talks about how to distinguish good shepherds from thieves. Robbers come to steal, but good shepherds do not seek to get rich, but care for the welfare of the sheep...

The trait of a thief is to kill. Such intruders will inject the deadly venom of fear, reluctance and hatred into the herd. On the contrary, those who have passed through the fold of Jesus do the opposite: they will enliven with words and good example...

Someone who, like Jesus, cares for the flock will build, not destroy. If he finds something that is built on a bad foundation, he will propose reconstruction,
not a demolition...

"So God also granted the Gentiles grace of conversion, that they might live" (Acts 11:18). The beginning of the Church and questions answered by the Holy Spirit. Pagans called to follow Jesus. We must realize that we too stand somewhere in the row of those called, and the Holy Spirit also leans over us...

Before his death, Jesus cares for his single mother who is losing her only son. The disciple's task is to take and accept the Mother of Jesus entrusted to him. The disciple's task is to accept Mary as his mother, the highest good that is the source of his existence...

Jesus is the gate of the sheep. This is not a gate conquered at any cost. Just being good isn't enough either. A mature relationship with Christ is needed
and the good that flows from it. Let us seriously live Him and His teachings. He is the gate. Not us and our expectations...

Jesus presents himself as the gate to the sheepfold. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came so that the sheep might have life
and they had them in abundance...

A thief is one who does not enter the sheepfold through the gate, but otherwise. Yes, the thief is the one who tries to pretend to be a shepherd and does not enter 'through Jesus'; ignores Him, corrects Him, tries to preach its own teachings, not those of Jesus...

There will always be those who are deceived, have bad hearing and do not recognize the voice of the shepherd. Most people, however, won't be fooled. If only it were so...

To know someone by name is to know their life. Not necessarily in its entirety, but enough to get to know its joys and sorrows, fears and hopes, strengths and weaknesses. This shortens the distance. It allows you to guide or guide you through the day or night of your life. Jesus knows our name. He knows our lives. He knows each of us. Let us not be afraid of this, but let us follow His call...

...Jesus, I am asking for a profound experience of joy in the Spirit that You and the Father take care of me... I am asking for the grace to fulfill the disciple's task, that is, to be next to Your cross... Thank you for offering Yourself for me...
