CZWARTEK, Dzień powszedni EWANGELIA - J 3, 31-36 (Kto wierzy w Syna, ma życie wieczne) Kto przychodzi z wysoka, panuje nad wszystkim, a kto z ziemi pochodzi, należy do ziemi i po ziemsku przemawia. Kto z nieba przychodzi, Ten jest ponad wszystkim. Świadczy On o tym, co widział i słyszał, a świadectwa Jego nikt nie przyjmuje. Kto przyjął Jego świadectwo, wyraźnie potwierdził, że Bóg jest prawdomówny. MEDYTACJA Słowa o posłuszeństwie nie są łatwe. Zazwyczaj nie lubimy być posłuszni, bo mamy wrażenie, że to nas ogranicza, odbiera możliwości i krępuje. Tymczasem Jezus to ktoś, kto kocha nas bezgranicznie i sam stał się dla nas posłuszny. Jego posłuszeństwo ma na celu nas podnieść, obdarować i zbawić, a nie stłamsić, ograniczyć lub upokorzyć... Wierzyć, to znaczy ufać. Wiele naszych grzechów wynika z braku ufności, ze strachu i z koncentracji wyłącznie na sobie. To lęk nas ogranicza, odbiera możliwości i krępuje, a nie miłość, która daje się bez reszty aż po krzyż. Miłość przynosi wolność, a lęk ją odbiera... Wiara w Syna prowadzi do życia. Zauważmy, że Ojciec miłuje Syna i wszystko oddał w Jego ręce, a Ten cały oddaje się w posłuszeństwie Ojcu. Miłość naturalnie chce sobą obdarowywać osobę umiłowaną. Choć Jezus, będąc człowiekiem, również odczuwał lęk, to jednak zwyciężyło w Nim posłuszeństwo Nie zawsze łatwo słuchać Boga wbrew prawu ludzkiemu, czy opinii mediów. A jednak innej uczciwej drogi nie ma. Każdy kompromis w tym przypadku będzie zdradą... Tylko Bóg daje życie. Nic tego nie zastąpi. Ani przymierze, jakie Izraelici zawarli z Bogiem, ani Prawo, ani świątynia. Nic nie zastąpi Boga i nie da człowiekowi życia. Jan Chrzciciel jest świadom tego. On wie, że jego czas dobiega końca. Miał przygotować drogę Mesjaszowi i teraz ten, który 'przychodzi z wysoka, panuje nad wszystkim'... Jan Chrzciciel rozpoznał w Jezusie Słowo, które Bóg wypowiada do każdego, odnajduje w Nim swoje szczęście i przeznaczenie. Jest prototypem ucznia na wszystkie czasy, który oczekuje, szuka i przyjmuje życie syna, do którego Bóg nas wzywa... Kiedy słuchamy słowa Jezusa, On mieszka w nas, a my w Nim. Ten, kto Go nie słucha, odłącza się od Jego życia. Nasza odpowiedź na wołanie Syna jest ‘deklaracją’ przyjęcia lub odrzucenia tożsamości syna, a zarazem wyborem życia lub śmierci... Słyszymy wokół siebie wiele słów. Nie wszystkie są i są 'słowami Bożymi'. Chrześcijan powinno poznawać się po 'słowach Bożych', przesiąkniętych kulturą Ewangelii, szacunkiem, dowartościowaniem, podnoszących człowieka. Powinno się ich poznawać po słowach, które dają życie, szczególnie ludziom w trudnej sytuacji... Stanowcze 'tak' i 'nie' wymagają odwagi, której inspiratorem jest Duch Święty. On bowiem kontynuuje na ziemi zbawcze dzieło Jezusa. Męstwo natomiast „zapewnia wytrwałość w trudnościach i stałość w dążeniu do dobra”, jak również „uzdalnia do przezwyciężania strachu, nawet strachu przed śmiercią, do stawienia czoła próbom i prześladowaniom” (KKK 1808)... Świadectwo ma największą siłę oddziaływania, chociaż wielu reaguje na nie gniewem, inni niedowierzaniem, a jeszcze inni – zupełną obojętnością. Pozostaje zatem wytrwała, bez lęku i zniechęcania się, modlitwa do Ducha Świętego, który ma moc uczynić serce kamienne sercem z ciała... W życiu dokonujemy wyboru czy kierować się w swoim postępowaniu wiarą, logiką Bożą czy myśleć jedynie po ludzku. Nasz wybór jest tutaj bardzo ważny. Bardzo istotne jest przyjęcie świadectwa Syna, wiara w Syna, bo to gwarantuje nam życie wieczne... Wierzymy w życie wieczne, ale często nawet nie zastanawiamy się nad nim. A tymczasem trzeba zatrzymać się na chwilę i pomyśleć o tym, że nasze życie przemija. Aby otrzymać życie wieczne konieczna jest wiara w Syna... Bóg jest mądrzejszy od człowieka, Bóg wie wszystko lepiej. Dlatego to Jego trzeba słuchać, wsłuchiwać się w to, co powiedział nam przez Jezusa, a nie tych, którzy przedstawiają jedynie mądrości ziemskie, często ułomne w swojej krótkowzroczności. To jasne i oczywiste. Ale dlaczego jest dziś często tak, że nawet nazywający się wierzącymi, idąc za różnymi modami, tak naprawdę Jezusa nie słuchają?... Wbrew temu, co często dziś słychać, nie jest obojętne, czy traktujemy Jezusa serio, czy nie. Bo „kto wierzy w Syna, ma życie wieczne; kto zaś nie wierzy Synowi, nie ujrzy życia, lecz gniew Boży nad nim wisi”... ...Jezu, proszę o głębokie przeżycie prawdy, że Ojciec powierzył mnie Tobie... Proszę o poznanie miłości Ojca do Syna i zjednoczenie się z Synem... MEDITATION Words about obedience are not easy. We usually don't like to obey because we feel that it limits us, takes away our opportunities and embarrasses us. Meanwhile, Jesus is someone who loves us unconditionally and became obedient to us. His obedience is intended to uplift, gift and save us, not to suppress, limit or humiliate us... To believe is to trust. Many of our sins result from lack of trust, fear and concentration only on ourselves. It is fear that limits us, deprives us of opportunities and binds us, not love, which gives itself completely up to the cross. Love brings freedom and fear takes it away... Faith in the Son leads to life. Let us notice that the Father loves the Son and has given everything into His hands, and He gives Himself entirely in obedience to the Father. Love naturally wants to give itself to the beloved person. Even though Jesus, being a human being, also felt fear, obedience prevailed in Him It is not always easy to obey God despite human law or media opinion. And yet there is no other honest way. Any compromise in this case will be a betrayal... Only God gives life. Nothing can replace it. Neither the covenant that the Israelites made with God, nor the Law, nor the temple. Nothing can replace God and give man life. John the Baptist is aware of this. He knows his time is running out. He was to prepare the way for the Messiah and now he who 'comes from on high rules over all'... John the Baptist recognized in Jesus the Word that God speaks to everyone, and found his happiness and destiny in Him. He is the prototype of the disciple for all times, who waits, seeks and welcomes the life of the son to whom God calls us... When we listen to the word of Jesus, He lives in us and we in Him. Whoever does not listen to Him is separated from His life. Our response to the Son's call is a 'declaration' of accepting or rejecting the son's identity, and at the same time a choice of life or death... We hear many words around us. Not all of them are and are 'words of God'. Christians should be recognized by the 'words of God', permeated with the culture of the Gospel, respect, appreciation, and uplifting people. They should be recognized by their words that give life, especially to people in difficult situations... A firm 'yes' and 'no' require courage inspired by the Holy Spirit. He continues the saving work of Jesus on earth. Fortitude, on the other hand, "ensures perseverance in difficulties and constancy in striving for the good", as well as "enabling one to overcome fear, even the fear of death, to face trials and persecutions" (CCC 1808)... Testimony has the greatest impact, although many people react to it with anger, others with disbelief, and still others with complete indifference. Therefore, we remain persistent, without fear or discouragement, in prayer to the Holy Spirit, who has the power to turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh... In life we ??make a choice whether to be guided in our behavior by faith, God's logic or to think only as humans. Our choice is very important here. It is very important to accept the testimony of the Son, to believe in the Son, because this guarantees us eternal life... We believe in eternal life, but often we don't even think about it. In the meantime, we need to stop for a moment and think about the fact that our lives are passing. To receive eternal life, it is necessary to believe in the Son... God is wiser than man, God knows everything better. That is why we must listen to Him, listen to what He told us through Jesus, and not those who present only earthly wisdom, often defective in their short-sightedness. It's clear and obvious. But why is it often the case today that even those who call themselves believers, following various fashions, do not really listen to Jesus?... Contrary to what is often heard today, it does not matter whether we take Jesus seriously or not. For “whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; but whoever does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him... ...Jesus, I am asking you to deeply experience the truth that the Father has entrusted me to You... I am asking you to know the Father's love for the Son and to be united with the Son... Thank you for coming to us and to me personally...
